Tweed Valley is a friendly Club playing the leisurely sport of Pétanque. (French Boules) pronounced (pay-tonk or peytank). This is a true community sport as anyone can play regardless of age or physical ability.

Tweed Valley meet on Wednesdays and Sundays from April to October for social games and club competitions, we also have practice sessions each month.

The new season begins in April.

We are always looking for new members of any age or experience level. "You will be made most welcome".

Tweed Valley Pétanque Club welcomes all - some people will simply be looking to meet new people and join in the games just for fun, others will wish to compete in small club competitions or perhaps try to qualify for the Scotland squad. We have seasoned players and a club coach on hand to assist those who wish to develop their game.

If you enjoy good company and friendly competition you will enjoy playing Pétanque.

It is a simple game to learn, costs very little and can be played almost anywhere outdoors by young and old alike.

We are here to help you to enjoy our sport at whatever level you wish to play – whether you just want to play the occasional game with family or friends or want to play at the very highest level and perhaps compete Nationally or Internationally.
